Amelia M. Robichaud Labbe, 94, died February 8, 2015 at Westgate Manor, Bangor. She was born July 22, 1920 in Macamic, Quebec, daughter of David and Julienne (Dionne) Cote.
Amelia was a long time member of Glad Tidings Church. She loved children and worked as a Nanny, well into her 80’s.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Robichaud in August 1982, her second husband Leland Labbe in October 2009, a son, Gary Robichaud and a daughter, Barbara Stevenson.
Surviving are six children, Carol Stahl and her husband Dr. Robert Stahl of Atl., GA.; Michael Robichaud of Holden, Rose Gauthier of Baileyville, William Robichaud of Brewer, Dwayne Robichaud and his wife Carmen of Portsmouth, N.H., Laura Deane and her husband, Stephen of Exeter; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, three sisters; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor. Spring interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Orrington. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the service.
