Ann E. Florest,76 of Frankfort, Maine passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, while bravely battling cancer for the third time. Born to Mary A. and Charles B. Parsons on July 31, 1948, in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Married to Milton two weeks after her college graduation, her career began as a teacher, and she later became the office manager of her husband’s growing business. After their retirement to Maine, Ann and Milton truly enjoyed the slower pace of life and the friendly community.
One of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1975, Ann volunteered her time teaching people about the Bible in her community even up until her death. She found comfort in the words of her favorite scriptures Isaiah 41:10, 13 ‘Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God.....For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I will help you.’’ Her strength and endurance as well as her positive outlook will be missed by family and friends.
Ann is survived by two children, Daniel (Arizona) and Stephanie (Walpole, MA). She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Christian and Haley (Walpole, MA), and a brother, Charles C. Parsons (North Carolina), as well as a nephew, nieces, and many friends. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Milton Florest Jr., and a brother, Richard Parsons.
