Annette Marie Taylor, 93, wife of the late Robert “Bob” Taylor, passed away December 10, 2020 at her home. She was born in Bangor, September 14, 1927 the daughter of Leo and Anne (McKenney) Cummings.
Annette was a graduate of John Bapst High School class of 1945 and she attended Beal Business College, Bangor. She was employed with the registry of deed of Penobscot County Courthouse and in more recent years was a clerk at Freeses Department Store.
Annette loved to be “on the go,” taking her grandchildren to the beach or waterpark. She knit for most of her life and gave sweaters and hats to friends and family members.
Surviving are one daughter, Victoria (Taylor) McCarron and her husband Michael P. of Bangor; two grandchildren, Shannon T. Hess and her husband Jesse Souza of Des Moines, WA, Adam Robert Hess and his wife Michaela of Houghton le spring, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom; three great grandchildren, Odin Hess , Olias Hess and Georgina Souza; special family member Jo-Ann Sawyer of Bangor; nieces and nephews; grandnieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Alfred Cummings, Robert Cummings and his wife Christine.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
