Annie Brown

Annie “Betty” Brown, 88, wife of the late, George A. Brown, died March 13, 2019 at an Orono health care facility. She was born December 22, 1930, in Milo, the daughter of Frank E. and Annie (Waterhouse) Morris. Betty was employed with Ansewn Shoe Company, retiring after 27 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bangor and the Aldworth Chapter OES# 39 of Milo. Surviving are two step-sons, Emmons S. Brown of Caledonia, Illinois, and James Brown and his wife Diane of Scarborough; step-grandchildren, Lynn Arellano, Sharon Sprague, and Mitchell Brown; step-great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Leah, James, Kayla, and Austin. She is also survived by many of her friends. The family would like to thank Star, Kyra, and Mike Wickett, as well as Lucinda Brothers, who were all instrumental in her care. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 4, 2019 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, at the Superintendents Lodge, State Street entrance, Bangor.
