Tony Brown, 66, passed away September 22, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born December 30, 1956 in Bangor, the son of the late Carl and Irene (Lovely) Brown of Corinth.
As a teenager, Tony helped on his grandparent's farm. There he learned what hard work is and carried that through into his adult life. In 1985 he went on to work for the Bangor Hydro Electric Company where he read meters, and soon became a lineman, retiring in 2017 after 32 years of service. He was respected and well known for his dedication, work ethic and was always willing to-help others. He- made life long relationships with many of his coworkers and will be sadly missed. Tony loved the outdoors and was a member of Central Fish and Game since 1975. Besides hunting, fishing and golfing, he loved to collect insulators and was happy to share his hobby with anyone who would listen.
In addition to his loving wife, Loretta (Boyer) of 41 years is his daughter Michelle (Patrick) Duffy of Brewer. Grandchildren; Kira, Simon, Benjamin, and Catherine Duffy, of Brewer.
