Argyle Township - Ashely C. Bloomer (Cram) died unexpectedly January 26, 2023, as the result of a tragic car accident.
She was born December 11, 1989, in Bangor Maine, the daughter of Kenneth Lee Cram and Janet Lynn (MacDonald) Blanchard.
Ashely attended school in Bangor and participated in track and field, cheerleading and tumbling. She graduated in 2008. Ashely worked for 16 years in food service industry as a bartender and waitress in a number of restaurants and bars in both the greater Bangor area and Ft. Worth, TX. Her friends at Miguel’s Restaurant in Bangor were especially supportive of her. She loved serving. She loved people. Ashely recently obtained her CNA certification and worked for the Maine Veteran’s Home. She loved her patients there.
Ashely and her husband, Kirk Bloomer were inseparable. They were married on December 3, 2021, in a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii. They resided together in a log cabin in the woods with Ashely’s daughter, Kennedy, and their two dogs. There Ashely made herself a homestead. She would dream something, and Kirk would build it for her. Ashely loved her green house, gardens, and chickens. She had plans to eventually grow enough vegetables to sell at the local farmer’s market. The cabin was her happy place and she never wanted to leave it.
Ashely was a “helper,” and someone who went to great lengths to care for others.
She wouldn’t want to see anyone crying, mostly because she couldn’t bear it. Ashely was the kind of person who felt pain when others were hurting. While she wore her own heart on her sleeve, she was a fearless defender of others. Ashely would want us to remember her with joy, for her strengths and talents. They were abundant.
Ashely was an athlete. An artist. A homesteading queen. A comedian and a diva. She had the kind of intensity that inspired both fear and awe. She was an indomitable force.
Ashely first and foremost was a mom. She was relentless in her pursuit of giving Kennedy the richest life possible, full of love, sunshine, opportunity and encouragement.
Ashely is survived by her husband, Kirk Bloomer and his two children, Alexander and Ashley; her daughter, Kennedy Boulware; mother, Janet Blanchard and her husband, Chris Blanchard; sister, Alicia Cram and her partner, Hayden Vanover; brothers, Ryan Cram and Jason Cram, and her stepbrothers, Gabriel Blanchard and Samuel Blanchard, and stepsister Grace Blanchard; grandmothers, Sylvia Moore and Celeste Cram; an aunt, uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Lee Cram.
