Aubrey E. “Bud” Boudreau, 81, husband of Ellen (Spencer) Boudreau, died September 30, 2013 at the Maine Veteran’s Home, Bangor, and went on to join his grandson, Sam. He was born December 3, 1931 in Bangor, son of Francis J. and Hazel (Bryant) Boudreau. Bud served in the US Navy on the USS Lloyd Thomas. After his discharge from the Navy, he worked for the Bangor Water District, C.P. Railroad, and Carrs Movers. Bud enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He was predeceased by his best buddy, Sam Alexander; stepson, Charles E. Lever III; step-daughter, Jennifer Lever, and several siblings. Surviving in addition to his wife of 53 years, are one daughter, Joellyn Alexander and her husband, Joe of Hudson; step-daughter, Catherine Dickinson and her husband, Fred of Corinth, step-daughter-in-law, Anne Lever of Bangor; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; two brothers, Avery Boudreau of Orrington, Francis Boudreau of Clinton; several nieces and nephews; and a lifelong family friend, Ralph Doble. A gathering to celebrate Bud’s life will be held 2-4 P.M. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St. Bangor. Interment with military honors will be held noon Thursday October 10, 2013 at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
