BANGOR – Barbara Elaine “Barb” Campbell, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2016, after a battle with cancer. She was born November 25, 1957, in Dexter, the daughter of Eugene and Mildred (Partridge) Stocker.
Barb graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1976, and worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center for over 30 years, most recently in the clerical section of the Radiology department. She was a member of the Hermon Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Barb is survived by her loving husband, Randy, of Bangor, with whom she enjoyed over 13 years; one son Paul Bamford and wife Jennifer of Orono, and grandchildren Bradley and Mia, both of whom she adored. She is also survived by sisters Jacalyn Eberly and husband Earl of Oregon, Janice Keyser and husband Toby of Massachusetts, and brother Russ Stocker of Hermon, as well as step-children, Misty, Kelly, Amy and Steven, and nine step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the many hospice volunteers, friends, and family who gave Barb comfort, care, and support as well as much needed companionship and friendship during her illness.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 Route 2, Hermon, with Rev. Garnett Chute, officiating.
