Barbara Williams

Barbara (Dall) Williams, 86, died peacefully March 29, 2019, at home surrounded by family who loved her. She was born October 25, 1932, in Brunswick, ME, to George Franklin Dall and Marie Olivia Alexander.

Barbara lived a rich life with her family and friends, enjoying many road trips with her beloved husband of 49 years, Richard Stanley Williams. She particularly enjoyed visiting Las Vegas and Branson, MO. For many years she co-owned the Park Rest Motel in Hampden with her husband, Richard, making friends with those who traveled through, and spending lazy afternoons by the pool with grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her sister, Loretta Paige. She is survived by her husband, Richard Williams; daughter, Priscilla Stewart, son, Howard Day and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Peter Delandero and wife, Suzanne, Heather Beam, Howie Day and partner, Carrie Pencek, Katie Day and wife, Emily Dixon, Kristina Day, Kara Day; great-grandchildren, Merrit Delandero, Rory Delandero, Noah Beam, Lyla Beam, London Foster; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially cousins, Linnie and Pattie Stevens, and friends, Linda Williams, and Sandra McGlaughlin.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, officiating.
