Bangor - Bunny I. Cox, 63, died unexpectedly June 30, 2023, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 21, 1960, in Florida, the daughter of Eunice A. Cox.
Bunny worked in the food industry for fifty years. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. Bunny loved gambling, cooking shows, and reading or watching anything to do with a good mystery. Her sisters were her best friends. Many know her as the kind, generous, fun-loving woman she was. She loved and was well loved by many. If Bunny ever told you to “have a happy day” than know you are a very lucky person.
Bunny was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Cox, and her brother, Daniel Cox. She is survived by her brother, David; her sisters, Carrie and Anna; her nieces and nephew, Anthony and wife, Sylvia, Sarah, Laurie and partner, Steve, Amy, Amber and partner, Casey; her great-nephews and nieces, Anthony, Matthew, Joseph, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Landon, Noah, Zachary, Mikayla, Hailey, and Althea. Including her chosen family, Rodney, Amie, Letha, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
