Betty L. Comstock, 87, died August 27, 2021, at Northern Light Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1934, in Old Town, the daughter of Franklin Avery and Helena (Kneeland) Avery.
Betty graduated from Old Town High School in 1953, and attended Husson College. She married her soul mate, Arthur, on September 11, 1954. They moved to Millinocket where she ran Black Kettle Antiques, then moved to Orono and ran Highlawn Bed and Breakfast. Betty loved meeting people.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helena; her sister, Gloria; her husband, Arthur. Betty is survived by her son, Thomas Comstock and his wife, Susan; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; daughter, Cherie; two sisters, Adath and Nadia; several nieces and nephews.
