Beverly A. Armstrong Scripture, wife of the late Raymond Scripture died peacefully January 6, 2021. Bev was born in Machias to the late Guy and Clara (Ramsdell) Armstrong October 9, 1938 and attended school there. Beverly was known for her infectious smile. She loved entertaining and social events. She enjoyed playing card games and bingo with her friends. Some of her happiest times were taking adventures in their motorhome with Ray. Beverly had a strong bond and love for her family. She and Ray always attended school, sports, church, and any other event that their grandchildren were involved in. She also enjoyed many happy summer evenings on the Bangor Waterfront on her son's houseboat.

Bev was predeceased by her parents, brothers Gerald and Barton, and sisters Madeline and Helen (Smith). Surviving Bev is her son Guy Armstrong and wife Tory. Her granddaughter Erica Wilcox and husband Chris. Her grandson Derek Armstrong and partner Kira. Grammy Great's three special great grandchildren; Lilliana, Emmet, and Ivy. A special niece Patrica Phifer and family of Florida, nieces, nephews, cousins, along with many wonderful friends.

Beverly's family would like to thank the Beacon Hospice staff and clergy and the staff at Orono Commons for their compassionate care and comfort. At Beverly's request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring for Ray and Bev at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hermon.
