Billy F. Coffman, 72, died November 3, 2020, at his home in Bangor. He was born September 26, 1948, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of Leonard and Wilma (Cornish) Coffman.

Billy graduated from 71st High School, Class of 1967 in Fayetteville NC. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army in Germany. After leaving the military, he moved to Washington D.C., where he met his wife. Soon after, they moved to Winterport Maine to start a family. After a career at EMMC that spanned 37 years, he retired in 2010. He was also a successful property owner/manager for 30+ years. In his free time, he enjoyed sailing, snowmobiling, skiing and camping with his family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling, driving his corvette, and searching for the next addition to his Beer Stein collection. He loved the peace and tranquility of his sunsets, whether on a dock on Mount Desert Island, or at his home in Port Charlotte Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Lorraine. He is survived by his loving partner, Carrie Vigneault, his daughter, Amy Bowden (Coffman), two grandsons, Hunter & Jackson Bowden, and his two sons, Steven Coffman and Jason Coffman, as well as, Niece Barbara Jones, Independance, IA, Nephew Paul Landis, Cedar Rapids, IA, his beloved cousin, Linda Hermann, Waukesha, WI, and his Best Friend, Rolin Choate, Asheville, NC.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, November 13, 2020, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 12:45 PM, Friday, at the Superintendents Lodge, 1048 State Street Entrance, Bangor. Bill was proud to have served in the military and loved this Country.
