Blanche Allard

June 16, 1936 — June 1, 2022

Blanche Lorraine (Wiles) Allard, 85 went onto her next journey on June 1, 2022, at home, after a long battle of illnesses. She was born June 16, 1936, in Woburn, MA the daughter of Gordon and Eula (Dysart) Wiles.

The family moved to Maine when Blanche was a young child. Blanche attended Hermon schools. She later met Phil and married and raised a wonderful family. Blanche loved the outdoors especially being on “the lake”.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband Phil, a daughter Tania, and three of her siblings. She is survived by her five children, Wayne Allard and wife Alice, Theresa Lau, Robert Allard and wife Cathy, Joe Allard and wife Maria and Jackie Allard; siblings, Elinor Witherly, Fred Wiles and wife Joyce and Dorothy Carr and husband Ken; a very special sister-in-law Jeanette Tourville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor where funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, June 10. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hermon. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Lafayette Family Cancer Center, C/O Northern Light Health Foundation, P.O. Box 931, Bangor, ME 04402-0931.
