Brady Andrews, 19, of Brewer, Maine, passed away following a workplace accident on Monday, June 24th, 2024. Brady was a kind, gentle young man who always put family first and cherished every moment he was able to spend with his loved ones. Brady graduated from Brewer High School and United Technologies Center in 2023 and had spent the past year gaining experience as an electrician’s helper in hopes of returning to school to become an apprentice.
He enjoyed hiking with his close friends, listening to his favorite bands, and playing guitar for whoever was lucky enough to witness. Brady was an extremely talented individual and was admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Brady is survived by his mother, Nicole Blais, and her husband, Mike Blais of Milford; father, Josh Andrews of Brewer; brother, Evan Andrews and fiancée Emma Guernsey of Saco; step-siblings, Bella and Ava Blais of Milford; grandparents, Garnette and Randy Thompson of Greenbush, and Theresa and Steve Andrews of Bradley; aunts and uncles, Danielle Tower and Dave Stevens of Brewer, Renee and Drew Waravdekar of Fredrick, Maryland, and Adam Thompson of Greenbush; cousins, Dominic, Jada, Brooke, Whitney, Waylon, Gunner, Charlotte and James; as well as a large extended family who meant the world to him. During the last few years, Brady made many lasting friendships that truly brightened his world, and his family will forever be grateful to each one of them for the joy they brought to his life.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon, Maine, from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. This will be a casual event as that is what Brady would want. We ask that you please wear your favorite band shirt in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the electrical connectivity program at United Technologies Center towards a scholarship in Brady’s name. Checks can be made payable to United Technologies Center with a notation in the memo for the electrical program.
