Glenburn – Brady Louis Nickerson, 14, passed away, May 26, 2019 at Eastern Maine Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 31, 2004, in Bangor, the son of Preston and Angel (Munson) Nickerson.
Brady attended the Glenburn Elementary School where he was graduating from the 8th Grade. He was a member of the Sluggers 14U Travel Baseball. Brady loved Red Sox Baseball and New England Sports Teams.
He was predeceased by a niece, Maria and his great grandparents.
Brady is survived by his parents, Preston and Angel Nickerson of Glenburn; Little brother, Trenton Nickerson of Glenburn; Big brother, Mike Nickerson and Rachel Clark of Bangor; Big sister, Ashley and Stan Mitchell of Lincoln; nieces and nephews, Lily, Stanley, Noah, Conall and Miriam, all of Lincoln; Grandparents, Dot and Norris Munson of Glenburn, and Judith and Fredrick Nickerson of Winterport; aunts and uncles, Louis Betters of Glenburn, Brent and Mary Nickerson of Bangor, and Leah and Sean Brown of Sarasota, Florida; as well as many cousins, teammates and friends.
We would like to thank the Pediatric and PICU staff at EMMC for all the wonderful care and compassion given to our family. We love you!

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 3-5:00 and 6-8:00pm, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 US-2, Hermon, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Glenburn. The family requests in Brady’s honor that dress be casual, Team Brady shirts, or sports attire.
