In time, he returned to school and received an associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology at Southern Maine Community College. After working for a local hospital, he was recruited and worked for Abbott (formerly St. Jude Medical) Cardiac Rhythm Management and Abbott Electrophysiology for over 16 years, in clinical and sales roles.
Early memories for Brooks include time working with his family on his Grandparent’s and Uncle’s Dairy Farm. He developed a work ethic and outlook that would shape and influence him in the years to come.
Brooks had a calming and quiet presence. He worked hard, loved and served his family with passion, and sought respite outdoors and away from the distractions of life. There are not words for the pain we feel with his loss.
