Carl A. Engelmann III, 75, passed away November 19, 2018, at his home in Hudson surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 23, 1943, in Hartford, CT, the son of Carl A. Engelmann Jr. and Catherine (Vasko) Engelmann.
Carl graduated from Barton Academy, Barton, Vermont, and completes two years at Lydon State College. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Carl worked as a carpenter throughout his life.
In addition to his loving wife of 48 years, Joyce Engelmann, Carl is survived by his children, Erica Engelmann, Carl A. Engelmann IV, Michael Engelmann and Monica Engelmann.
A memorial reception will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2018, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Military honors will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by words of remembrance.
