Carol Black, 75, died October 14, 2015, with her family by her side, after a brief illness.
She was born in Bangor, July 11, 1940, daughter of Donald F. and Eunice (Nadeau) Clish.
Carol had been employed for the last 14 years, at Spessard Holland Golf Course, Melbourne Beach, FL.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, remodeling and decorating, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are, her companion of 32 years, Joe Auger of Bangor and Melbourne, FL.; four children, Donald M. Black and his fiancée, Evie, Kim Green and her husband, Bruce all of Bangor, Daniaelle Moniz and her husband, Tony of Glenburn, Kenneth Black of Bangor; four grandchildren, Tonya Moniz, Lara Crawley, Jason Black, and Jessica Sockbeson; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Bacon of MD., Gail Faucett of AZ., nieces and nephews; many special friends.
The Rite of Committal for Carol will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2015, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Outer Hammond St. Extension, Bangor, followed by a Mass of the Repose of her Soul to be celebrated 11 am. Monday October 19, 2015, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St. Bangor.
