Carol Ann Pelletier, 78, of Hampden passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born on October 23, 1944 in Bangor, to Carroll and Helen (Wilson) Oakes.
Carol Ann is survived by her daughter, Debra Thomas and her husband, Alfred, of Hampden; grandchildren, Alexander Thomas of Hampden, Alayna Thomas of Hampden, currently stationed at Ft. Gordon, GA with the U.S. Army, Tyler Tregellas of Topeka, KS, and Samantha Fryman of Dallas, TX; great grandsons, Tyler Tregellas Jr. and Jaxson Tregellas, along with their mother Corrine Tregellas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of over 30 years, H. Bruce Pelletier and her brother, Loren Oakes.
Carol Ann was a very loving mother and grandmother, she adored her sweet dog, Foxy, who brought her great joy. She enjoyed dancing and gardening, and spending time with family and her friends at Avalon Village. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Carol Ann’s friends at Avalon Village, and St. Joseph Hospice for their incredible care and support. A special thank you to cousin Kathie Duncan of Woolwich, ME for the love and support she provided to Carol Ann and family.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Avalon Manor House, 50 Foxglove Dr., Hampden, ME. 04444. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
