Bradenton, FL, Brewer and Houlton, ME - Carol Anne Sewall,79, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, FL. She was born November 21, 1944, in Houlton, ME, the youngest daughter of Ralph Williams Sr. and Velma (Hamilton) Williams.
Carol graduated from Houlton High School, Class of 1962. She grew up on her family's dairy and potato farm. Carol was talented in so many ways that it would be difficult to list them all. She was an unbelievable cook and was well-known for her pastries, pies, and bread. She loved spending time with her family, especially at the family cottage on East Grand Lake.
She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Sewall; her children, Phil Grant Jr. and his wife, Dawn of Newbury, NH, Crystal Grant of Presque Isle, ME, and Kara Sheldon and her husband, Ryan of Houlton, ME; twelve Grandchildren (perfect dozen), Nicholas Grant, Brandon McGuire, Tyler Grant, Lauren Grant, Logan Grant, Taylor Graham, Courtney Grant, Noah Grant, Gavin Grant, Paige Royal, Hope Royal, and Ava Sheldon; one great grandchild, Talon Grant; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Kevin Grant; brothers, Ralph Williams Jr. (Betty), Roy Williams, and Paul Williams; one sister, Phyllis Burns (Bob).
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Superintendent's Lodge, State Street entrance, Bangor, at 11:45 a.m.
