Carole Perkins

April 24, 1945 — May 20, 2017

Hampden - Carole Faye (McClure) Perkins, 72, passed away unexpectedly May 20, 2017, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 24, 1945, in Old Town, the daughter of Roland E. and Irma J. (Adams) McClure. Carole worked for many years at the Bangor Convalescent Center. She then worked as a private caretaker to her Aunt Eva Mallory until her passing. Carole enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Philip Perkins; children, Pamela Braley and husband Loren, James Parent II and wife Diane, Candy White and husband George; grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan and Mary, Rachel and Patrick, Megan and Scott, Lian, Kelsey and Sam, Emily, Tristan; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Natalie, Brycen, Virginia; siblings, William McClure and wife Clarice, Wendy Hall and husband Robert, Tammy Cunningham and husband Larry, Roland McClure and wife Marie; sisters-in-law, Arlene, Eleanor, Sevilla and Michelle; brothers-in-law, Leo and Clarence; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by siblings, Betty Simpson, Gerald McClure, Bickey Poston, Halie McClure, Dick McClure, Larry McClure, and a sister-in-law, Gail, a niece and four nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospital for the wonderful care that Carole received the many times she had been admitted to the hospital.
