Cary N. Burlock, AKA: Cary O’Neil Jackson, passed away October 28, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1951 in Dexter, son of Linwood Jackson and Evangeline (Wyman) Hale.
Cary is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy (Bouchard) Burlock; four children between them, son Kirk N Burlock and wife Karina, daughter Trista N. Burlock,
Jason M. Pyles of Levant, Dustin O. Pyles of Naples; brothers Blaine A. Burlock and wife Barbara of Tucson, AZ., Bruce R. Burlock and wife Gail of Caribou, Scott G. Hale of OK, Dana Hale and wife Heather of Ft. Fairfield; very special blended family of grandchildren and great grandchildren and our special “miracle baby” Dakota M. Pyles and wife Anya, Tevell Harris, Jaden Burlock, Khloe, Gabrielle, Jacob, Jason Jr, Hunter, Haylee and our special “storyteller” Kinsley; great grandchildren, Sophia, Elly and Cullen and special aunt Joan Wyman Bryson; he is predeceased by two special stepdads that raised him, Robert Burlock and Ronald Hale; brothers, Dwayne Burlock, and twins Kevin and Keith Hale, (infants); sister Annette Burlock,(infant).
Cary lived in Corinna the first 15 years of his life and graduated from Caribou High School in 1969. This is where he learned to ski and snowmobile. He worked as a packaging supervisor and transportation dispatcher at Potato Service Inc., in Presque Isle for 13 years until they closed their doors. He moved to Hermon in 1983 and worked for Hartt Transportation for seven years as a dispatcher and terminal manager. He finished his 23 year career with Dysarts’s Transportation in Hermon where her performed duties as a dispatcher, sales and customer service and general manager util August 15, 2012 when he was diagnosed with pheochromocytoma cancer and then retired.
Cary enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his early years. Later in life he really enjoyed his Harley and his Artic Cat snowmobile, trips to the coast, especially his favorite spot, Acadia. He loved his wife, Judy and his blended family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special love to all our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially our miracle baby/young man Dakota M. Pyles who is in the military. May God watch over you all and keep you safe.
A private graveside service will be held.
