Hampden – Catherine Anne (Street) Dupray, 95, died July 22, 2021. She was born November 30, 1925, the daughter of Marjorie (Blackman) Street and William Street Sr.
Catherine graduated from Brewer High School in 1942. She married Lewis Dupray Sr. in 1946. She worked as a bookkeeper, Medwed Footwear, Moccasins Inc., and at the Twin City Motel. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 4633, a nurse’s aide at Eastern Maine hospital, and volunteered with the Maine Veterans’ Home.
She was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, and worked hard for her family. She took pride in her volunteer work for organizations connected to veterans.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lewis; sisters, Joan Pelkey, and Beverly Paul; brothers, William “Buddy” Street Jr., and Raymond Street.
Catherine is survived by her children, Linda Dupray Cutler, of Tioga, Louisiana, Diane Eck, of Hermon, Brenda Dennison, of Jackson, Lewis Dupray Jr., of Hampden, Bruce Dupray, of Houston, Texas, and Mike Dupray, of Veazie; brother, Edward Street, of Indiana; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt.
