Chad Adam Boucher, 40, died unexpectedly November 20, 2016 at his home. He was born in Fort Kent, January 29, 1976, son of Wallace and Camilla (Soucy) Boucher.
Chad graduated from Fort Kent High School, University of Maine at Fort Kent with an English degree and the University of Maine Presque Isle with an education degree. He later received his masters in education in English from the University of Maine, Orono and was currently working on a certificate of advanced study through the University of New England. Chad’s passion for education and reading proved to be a great benefit to his many students over the last 17 years.
Chad spent many years playing men’s softball where his circle of friends grew endlessly. He also enjoyed playing golf and spent many hours on the golf course at Rocky Knoll. Chad had a love for the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his friends and enjoyed the quality time he spent with each and every one of them. His son was his favorite and he and Bennett were destined to make great memories.
Chad is survived by his wife, Nicole and son, Bennett both of Hermon; his father of FT. Kent; sister, Pam Caron and her husband, Ralph of Ft. Kent; two brothers, Daryl Boucher and wife, Stacy of Presque Isle, Wayne Boucher and wife, Jocelyn of Edmunston, NB; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Melanie Lyons of Bangor; brother-in-law, Neil Lyons of Bangor; nieces, Kaci, Kiera, Hilary, Hana. Veronique and Isabel; a nephew, Jesse.
He was predeceased by his mother.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St. Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. The family invites folks to share conversation and refreshments in the parish hall of St. Mary’s Catholic Church , 768 Ohio St., Bangor, following the mass.
