BANGOR – Charles “Charlie” Cordeiro, 74, passed away June 22, 2019, after a battle with cancer.
Charlie grew up in New Bedford and Boston. He was an avid dancer who taught in Boston and Bangor. A talented carpenter and painter, he had a self-owned business. He loved to fish and made many trips to the Caribbean, Rivers in Maine, and Cape Cod Canal. Charlie was no stranger to politics and was known to carry on a long discussion on conservative values. Charlie loved Karaoke only singing Frank Sinatra songs, often ending his evening with “I Did it My Way”.
Charlie is survived by former wife and good friend, Janet Cordeiro; daughter, Lisa Bard; and sons, Sam Cordeiro, Charles Cordeiro Jr., and Mark Cordeiro; sisters, Donna Metivier, Linda Callazo, Kathy Heifner; and brother, Manual Cordeiro.
