Charles Adrian Cushman, 84, passed away peacefully at Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on November 19, 2016. He was born May 30, 1932 in Bangor, son of George M. Cushman and Mary (Chisholm) Cushman. After graduating from John Bapst, class of 1950, he joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1954. He was employed as a certified public accountant for many years in the Bangor area. Charles enjoyed spending summers at his cottage on Pleasant River Lake till he became ill and was not able to travel any longer.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by nine siblings. He is survived by a brother Rick, of North Carolina; sisters Rachel, RSM of Portland and Therese of Arizona; a very special niece, Melanie and her husband Jerry; many other nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
His family would like to thank the staff at Bangor Nursing and Rehab Center for taking such wonderful care of Charlie.
