Bangor and Fort Fairfield – Charlie D. Michaud, 58, passed away June 2, 2023, in Bangor. Charles was born August 15, 1964, in Clinton, Maine, the son of the late Delcie and Marilyn Michaud of Fort Fairfield.
Charlie spent many years working in the Maine woods as an Arborist and was always proud of his work. He was a skilled finish carpenter and most recently finished his kitchen at his home in Bangor. Charles was a jack of all trades and did well at everything he put his mind to. The love that he had for music and singing songs during his free time was electric to those who had the chance to listen to him singing. He was a gifted musician and played other instruments well.
Charlie had a wonderful sense of humor and could make a sad person smile; he was able to get people out of their comfort zone. Charlie was a good man who was proud to volunteer his time to help others in the Recovery community. He was instrumental in starting the Wellbriety meetings in the Bangor/Brewer area.
Charles is survived by his children, Clinton, Chelsea, Clayton, Brandon, and Sierra, whom he loved. He also leaves behind his fiancé Melody Paul whom he shared his life with, and their two therapy Dogs, Buster and Bella. He will be missed.
The Bangor Area Recovery Network will hold a service for Charlie from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. on June 24, 2023, at 142 Center Street, Brewer.
