Charles William Nason ,91, passed away on December 15, 2019 at Winterberry Heights in Bangor. Born April 12, 1928 to William and Mildred (Tweedie) Nason.
Charles was a Korean War Veteran and a member and past master of the Star in the East Lodge #60 AF&AM of Old Town a member of Maine Consistory 32nd Degree and a life member of the Anah Shriners. Charles owned and operated Perry & Morrill Contractors in Bangor for 50 years. He enjoyed many years of family gatherings at Schoodic Lake.
He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis of 63 years; daughter, Joan Dimond; brothers, Eugene, Thomas, Richard; sisters, Shirley and Carol, and son in law Charles Calligan
He is survived by five children; James Nason and his wife, Martha of Old Town, Debra Calligan of Manchester, Donald Nason and his wife, Diane of Bangor, Richard Nason and his wife, Kimberly of Camden, Rhonda Mallory and her husband, Andrew of Gales Ferry, CT; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 3PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor with the Rev. Dr. Tracy Reeves, pastor of the Stillwater Federated Church, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit from 2PM until the time of service. The family invites all to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings- Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor immediately following the service.
