Charles Boulier, 68, passed away February 5, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bangor, May 2, 1949, son of Norman E. and Hazel (Scott) Boulier Sr. Charlie was a graduate of Brewer High School class of 1967.
He served in the US Army in Vietnam as a rifleman with Company C, 2nd Battalion of the 25th Infantry, Division’s 12th Infantry. He received several military commendations, including Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal for valor and Purple heart.
Charlie was employed as a pipefitter and a 50 year member of UA Local 716.
He enjoyed watching football and Nascar as well as camping, hunting and fishing.
He was predeceased by brothers, Norman Jr., and Paul and sister Barbara Boulier, brother-in-law, Larry Bennett, several aunts and uncles.
Surviving are his wife Eleanor (Legassie) Boulier; three children Christopher Boulier and fiancé Donna of Plymouth, Tammy May and husband Kenneth of Corinth, Lori Spellman and husband Shawn of Levant, grandchildren Terri and Krystal Caney, Brandon and Brooke Boulier ; sister Janet Bennett; brothers Allen Boulier and wife Deborah, Robert Boulier and wife Lynn; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends from Moosehead Trail Campground.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday February 15, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment with military honors will be held at 2 pm at Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd. Augusta.
