DEXTER & HAMPDEN – Charlotte Elizabeth (Price) Bingham, 79, was promoted to her heavenly home November 26, 2018. She as born February 5, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Cecil and Lillian Price.
Charlotte attended schools in Indiana, Ohio, and Kansas. She met her husband, Robert Bingham, in August of ‘56, and was married in May of ‘57. Charlotte came to know the Lord as a teenager and served him faithfully until she was called home. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Apostolic Church. Her church family and friends were very precious to her, and she cherished those relationships. Charlotte’s mission in life was to make the world beautiful through gardening, painting, and decorating. Her paintings have been shared and loved by many. Charlotte had a love for people, and enjoyed everyone she met. Many knew her as Aunt Charlotte, whether they were true family or not. Charlotte’s generosity and love for others will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by a daughter, Priscilla; a great-granddaughter, Jaslyn; brothers, David, Billy, Jim, and Bobby; and a sister, Kathy. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Bingham, to whom she had been married for 61 years; children, Phillip Bingham and wife, Esther, Esther Thompson and husband, David, Mary Anderson and husband, Chip, and Rachel Rinehimer and husband, David; grandchildren, Robert, Jason, Casey, Nicole, Keegan, Toby, Brittany, Mandy, Bethany, Robby, Ashley, Kiana, Jonathan, Justin, Ryann, Rachel, Cherishanne, and their significant others; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa, Tristan, Levi, Ellie, Jalen, Dylan, Ethan, Charlotte, Brittany, A.J., Caydan, Ebony, Jeremy, Gavin, Tristan, Natalie, Franco; sisters, Dolores, and Ruth-Anne; a sister-in-law, Elsie; and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of remembrance will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Calvary Apostolic Church, 24 Crosby Way, Hampden, with Rev. Thomas Channell, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments in the church hall immediately following the remembrance.
