Cheryl Dianne Brown

GLENBURN
Cheryl Dianne Brown, 61, passed away September 7, 2021 at a local hospital. She was born October 22, 1959, the daughter of Freeman G Brawn and Shirley (Kyer) Brawn.
Cheryl was employed at St. Josephs Healthcare for 29 years where she had just recently retired. Cheryl was her happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, especially at camp. She was known for her world-famous potato salad.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Stephen Brown; two sons, Scott Brown of Glenburn, Bradley Brown and his significant other, Ashley Nicole, of Winterport and Ashley’s daughter, Alexis, who Cheryl loved as her own granddaughter; her grandson, James Jordan; one brother, Jerome Brawn “Tiger”, and his wife, Amy Jo; her mother in-law, Barbara Brown of Kenduskeag; sister in-laws, Peggy Brawn and Joanne Brawn of Hudson and Janice Brawn of Dover-Foxcroft, Kathie Strout and her husband Allan, of Sarasota, FL, Cindy Smith and her significant other, Chris of Kenduskeag; her special best friend and chosen sister, Rhonda Hendsbee of Glenburn; a special aunt, Marlene Archer and her husband Keith, of Glenburn; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her grandparents, Alvin and Maggie Brawn; three brothers, Freeman Brawn Jr, Dale Brawn, and Gregory Brawn.
There will be a gathering on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 1pm at 2734 Ohio St in Glenburn. A burial will be held at a later date. Condolences to the family may be expressed at Brookingssmith.com.
