Bangor - Claire B. Ripley, 99, went home to be with her Lord on March 23, 2022. She was born in Northern Maine Junction, Maine on January 23, 1923.
Claire graduated from Hermon High School and lived and worked in the Bangor area all her life. Claire’s Christian experience was of vital importance to her. She was a past member of Columbia Street Baptist Church of Bangor, and Calvary Baptist Church of Brewer. She was a current member of Hermon Baptist Church of Hermon.
Claire was predeceased by her husband, Albert and son, David. She is survived by her sons, James (Debra) of Concord, New Hampshire, Edward (Suzanne) of Brewer, Maine, and Robert (Peggy) of Goodyear, Arizona; grandchildren, Troy Ripley, Renee Ripley, Robert Ripley, Jr., and Justin Ripley along with several great-grand-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held later in the Spring. Those who wish to remember Claire in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 US-2 Hermon, Maine 04401.
