The family of Constance T. Bolduc sadly announces her passing on August 10, 2024 in Bangor.
Connie was born in 1927 in Bath to Forest and Thelma (Ridley) Staples. She was raised by her grandmother Carrie (Cutting) Little and grew up in Bath and Somerville, MA. During her life she lived in Bath, Rumford, Willimantic, CT and Bangor. She worked at New England Telephone and Windham Public Schools. In 1949 she married Fred Bolduc of Bath, her husband of 61 years.
As the matriarch of the family, she outlived most of her relatives and friends. Growing up in the Depression shaped her life. She became adept at many useful activities from stone wall construction, furniture upholstery, gardening and raising four responsible and loving sons. She was a fixture at her children’s many sporting events, and treasured her time with her grandchildren.
Connie is survived by sons, Stephen Bolduc and Katy of Bangor, Kenneth Bolduc and Tomoko Aoba of Secaucus, NJ, Peter Bolduc of North Port, FL and Lisa Maruzo Bolduc of South Windham, CT and Frederick Bolduc of Greeley, Colorado; Grandchildren: Mikaela, Brenna, Andrew, Patrick, Gregory, Nicole and Valerian; Great grandchildren: Lucia, Theo, Carter, Hilaya and Mary Jane all of whom are forever grateful for the love and attention she gave. In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her husband, two children Mark and David, and her brother Richard.
Relatives and friends are welcome to share conversation and refreshments in her honor 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, September 13 at the Family Reception Center, Brookings Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. The interment will be at a later date in Bath. Those who wish to remember Connie in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor 44 Hogan Rd., Bangor, ME 04401.
