Coral Mary (Patterson) Higgins, 76, passed away June 11, 2019, at her residence in Frankfort. She was born February 6, 1943, in Winterport, the daughter of Wilfred N. Patterson and Mabel E. (Wright) Patterson Nickerson.
Coral worked for the Town of Winterport for many years retiring as the Town Manager. She enjoyed working around her house, mowing her lawn, and having her grounds looking good.
She is survived by a son, Robert S. Higgins Jr. and companion Diane Wescott of Belgrade; a daughter, Jennifer Higgins and companion Jim Morgan of Holden; siblings, Connie, Ronna, Frank, Nancy, Bonnie, and Karen; grandchild, Dustin and companion Devan; a great-grandchild, Declan; and the father of her children, Robert S. Higgins Sr. and companion Kathy Billings of Rockwood; and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, June 17, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Gifts in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
