LEVANT - Corey Corson passed away February 13, 2020 after a long, hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November 9, 1978 in Bangor, ME the son of Mike Corson and Shirley (Alexander) Corson. Corey graduated from Hermon High School in 1997 and immediately went to work at UPS where he had a wonderful career of 23 years. He was an avid sportsman. Corey enjoyed hunting, fishing and everything outdoors. He also loved his Harley’s and his newest obsession, a 1969 C10 pickup. Corey will be best remembered for how devoted he was to his wife and twin boys. Nothing was more important to him. Corey is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jessica (Ross) Corson; his 10 year old sons Ryan and Tyler; parents, Mike and Shirley Corson of Glenburn; brother, Michael White and wife, Jennifer of Kenduskeag; sister, Bonnie Burris and husband, Robert of Fort Mill, SC; sister, Sue White and Ed Turner of Carmel; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by close friends, Greg Kealiher of Levant, Al Riling of Levant, Troy Grass of Eddington; in-laws, Bill and Susan Ross of Kenduskeag, and brother in-law, Jamie Wiles and wife, Jennifer of Levant. The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to the nursing staff at Cancer Care of Maine and to the Palliative Support Team of Northern Light Health. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him over the past year. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street Brewer, with Rev. Stan Griffin, pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Exeter, officiating. Reception immediately to follow at the Elks Lodge, 108 Odlin Road, Bangor.
