Corinne Jones Goodell, 90, wife of Myron Eben Goodell, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday night, October 29 at EMMC after a brief illness. She passed peacefully while surrounded by her family. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Ira, Vermont. She worked in Pioneer Girls as a ministry of her church. Later she and her husband ministered together for twelve years at Dublin Christian Academy. After they retired they took three mission trips to Argentina.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Colleen and Warren Hall of Greer, SC, Terrie and Roy Callan of Muncie, IN, and Timothy and Allison Goodell of Carmel; one brother and one sister and sixteen grandchildren. Her friends and family remember her kindness, generosity and her love for her Lord and her family.
A private family viewing is scheduled for Sunday, November 3 to be followed by a funeral service at 4 pm on Sunday at West Hampden Baptist Church, 574 Western Avenue, Hampden, with Pastor Michael Lynn officiating. Interment will be at Ruggles Cemetery, Carmel, on Monday morning.
