Crystal Hoggard

Orono - Crystal Jean Bennett Hoggard, was born February 11, 1964 to the late Bishop Lonnie and Rosa Mae Bennett in Middletown, CT. She attended the public schools in Middletown and later moved to Kentucky where she was in the Job Corps and received her G.E.D. and a certificate in cooking. In 1998 she moved to Bangor, ME where she enjoyed cooking at Muddy Rudder Restaurant and Ruby Tuesdays. Crystal battled Heart Disease and Diabetes for over 10 years. Survivors include her two daughters, Mariah and Mykayla Hoggard of Bangor ME; one sister Lonette Gilbert of Riverdale, GA; two brothers, Lonnie Lee Bennett of Rochester, NY and Philip Charles Bennett of Hartford, CT, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. A memorial service will be held 12 noon Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Webster Park in Orono, down by the River.
