Cynthia B. (Shaw) Durrah, 51, died November 21, 2018, following a brief illness. She was born November 3, 1967, in Manchester, CT, the daughter of Dale and Irene (Bragg) Shaw.
Cindy played softball throughout her school years, and was a graduate of John Bapst, class of 1986. She was a member of the Bangor Elks Lodge #244. Cindy loved her cats, watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmy Johnson, and going for motorcycle rides. Cindy also had a love for dolphins and dreamed of one day swimming with them. She enjoyed sitting and soaking up the sun, fishing, and putting puzzles together.
Cindy was the life of the party, she was always smiling, and had a great sense of humor. Cindy had a big heart, and a deep love for her family.
In addition to her grandparents and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Lori.
Cindy is survived by her loving daughter, Heather Jordan and her husband, Steve; two special granddaughters, Mackenzie and Madison; sister, Melissa Babcock and her husband, Dale; niece and nephews, Steven, Jake, Emily, and Dakota (Little Man); special auntie, Joyce; brother-in-law, Steve; cousins and many friends.
