Cynthia “Cindy” A. Howard, 67, of Kenduskeag was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend. While in a Bangor hospital on December 24, 2023 she entered heaven's gate and rejoined her heavenly family.
Cindy was born to the late Robert L. Stearns and Nancy B. Davies on June 15, 1956 in Bangor Maine.
Cindy built a home in Kenduskaeg with her husband of 35 years Fredrick V. Howard and her children Son, Jeremy Stearns of Kenduskeag, Daughter, Kristie Clark of Carmel, Son, Joshua Pinkham & his partner Tiffany of Corinth.
She worked for many years as a town clerk for multiple towns but her position as the Kenduskeag Town Clerk gave her such pride as she loved her hometown and many of the people in it. After her first grandchild was born, she decided being Nana was her new full-time position, she was the absolute best. She truly was the central figure in the lives of her family, always there to provide love and support, making sure they knew they were loved and she was there for them.
She absolutely loved and adored her entire family with everything in her. Anytime spent with them was everything to her. She enjoy to bake for them and cook different treats, often while watching a cooking show or her afternoon stories or soaps. She really loved to drive to the ocean to watch the waves crash, stopping at numerous “secret” fishing holes along the way, she always knew if one was near. Camping with her family, four-wheeling with her husband, along with weekend yard sales with her kids that continued with her grandchildren. She really enjoyed feeding and watching her wild birds always making sure they like everyone in her life was taken care of.
She was filled with beauty inside and out. Her heart and compassion for others was something she felt deeply, and thankfully passed on to her children. She made the world a better place. She would help anyone in need, giving whatever she could, always there with a listening ear. Her hugs truly were magical to many. Her heart was big and her love was enormous. Her loss will be forever felt.
In addition to being survived by her Husband and children is a special son in law Robert Clark along with her Stepdaughter Starla Howard, Stepson Frederick Howard II, grandchildren Victoria “Tori” Clark, Andrew Clark, Jericho Pinkham and Ivy Pinkham, and by siblings, Brother, Lewis Stearns, Brother Michael & SIL Tracy Stearns, Brother Daniel & SIL Melissa Davies, Sister Melanie & BIL Sean Hurlburt and Sister Barbara Sawyer as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that became family.
In addition to her parents Cindy was predeceased by a sister Vanessa, a special nephew Hunter and other close family and friends.
