Kenduskeag – Daniel Eugene Gallant Sr., 61, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 7, 2016. Danny was born in Bangor on July 13, 1955, the son of Leslie F. and Mary (Doughty) Gallant.
Danny worked many years as a roofer, although his true passion was spending time hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He always looked forward to family camping trips at this home away from home, Duck Lake.
Danny will always be remembered for keeping the fire stoked, and our bellies full with his famous camp fries.
He is survived by his significant other, Terrie Hanscom; daughter, Monica Kelliher and her husband, Corey, of Hermon; three sons, Daniel Gallant Jr., and his significant other, Kyla, of Corinth, Joseph and Timothy Thayer, and their families; grandson, Hunter Lee Gallant whom he had a special place for in his heart; sisters, Sandra Carnevale and her husband, Bill, of Florida, Cheryl Curtis and her recently deceased husband, Ralph, of Hudson, and Tammie Wiley and her husband, Ronnie, of Glenburn; brothers, Gary Gallant and his wife, Rosie, of Appleton, Jerry Gallant of Kenduskeag, and Mark Gallant and significant other, Donna, of Kenduskeag; Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family invites relatives and friends to gather for conversation and refreshments as they celebrate Danny’s life from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Bradford Community Center 345 East Road, Bradford.
