It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Darlene Marie Lambert on 1/6/24 in Bangor with her family by her side. Darlene was born October 17, 1951 in Bangor the oldest of four children of Stephen H. and Rachelle A. Watson.
She was a wonderful mother and was always there when we needed her. She was a selfless gift from God that made an impression on everyone’s lives she has touched.
Darlene was a graduate from Hermon High School in 1970 with high honors, member of the Honor Society. She was class treasurer and voted best all around. After graduating High School, Darlene pursued her career in Nursing and made an impact for over 30 years. Nursing was her passion. Her selfless acts of kindness and empathy towards others made her stand out professionally and personally. She was compassionate about her work and made a difference in many lives without expectations.
She was very proud of her children and their families.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathryn Eileen Henry of Sidney; son, Stephen David Joy and wife Michelle of Hampden; grandchildren, Daryn Morris and wife Katelyn of Madison, Megan, Xander, Juliet, Tristan and Abby; one great granddaughter, Rylee of Madison; sisters: Diane Watson, of Howland, and Donna Walp, of Chestertown, NY
She was predeceased by a grandson, Nicholas Ryan Dunn and a brother, Stephen Watson
Mom enjoyed the simple things in life, birds, nature, flowers, the ocean, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Heaven has gained an Angel and she will be reunited with her loved ones that have passed.
A graveside service will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Glenburn at a time to be announced in the spring.
