Darryl L. White, 65, died at his home unexpectedly on February 15, 2015. He was born in Farmington, the son of Horace L. White and Gertrude Louise (McHale, Davenport) White.
Darryl is survived by his beloved daughter, Danielle L. (White) Sage and her husband Shane, and their three children, Devin, Derek, and Anthony, of Vernon, VT; his best friend and brother, David E. White, of Newburgh; his sister Deedra (White) Davis, of Bangor; his nephew, Sean L. Davis, of Bangor; and many cousins and close friends. In addition to his parents, Darryl was predeceased by his grandparents, Howard and Vera (Richards, McHale) Davenport, and Charles D McHale and Carl and Flora (Cook) White.
Darryl enlisted in the Army after high school and served 17 months and 14 days in Viet Nam, and he was awarded the Air Medal while stationed there with the 175th Aviation Company as a Crew Chief on UH-1 helicopters.
A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
