Dawn Clement

KENDUSKEAG – Dawn A. Clement, 66, died April 5, 2015 at a Bangor Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 24, 1948 in Bangor, daughter of Donald E. and Dorothy (Cousins) Andrews.

Dawn was a graduate of Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, attended Yale New Haven Hospital School of Nursing and was employed at the New Haven Hospital. In recent years, she was the Director of the Y Discovery House and Wee Care Daycare in Dexter. She retired as Director of the Ross Manor Adult Daycare Alzheimer’s Unit. She was a member and Past Matron of the former OES of Kenduskeag. Dawn was the rock of her family and will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.

Surviving, in addition to her loving husband of 40 years, Darrell Clement of Kenduskeag, are three children, Joe Dunn of Bangor, Andrew Dunn and his wife, Sheila of Hermon and Kristi Clement of Kenduskeag; Meme’s three angels, Traci, Nathan and Andrew; one brother, Ronald Andrews of Hudson; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor where a funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday April 8th with the Rev. James Proctor, pastor of the Corinth United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring interment will be in the Kenduskeag Village Cemetery.
