Carmel – Deborah S. Gusoski, 57, went to be with the lord January 10, 2021. She was born September 26, 1963, to Harland and Betty (Seay) Demaine.
Deborah graduated from Timberlane High School, in Plaistow, New Hampshire. Following graduation, Deborah married William Gusoski. She embraced being a military spouse, following her husband across the globe throughout his 21 year career in the U.S. Air Force. Her favorite venture was living in Alaska for ten years. Upon her husband’s retirement to Maine, Deborah worked as a Practice Scheduler for Northern Light Health for 16 years.
Deborah enjoyed crochet, loved animals, The Hallmark Movie Channel, and traveling to Old Orchard Beach. Her biggest joy was raising her children, she cherished the time spent with her three sons.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harland and Betty Demaine.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, William Gusoski; brother, Rodney Demaine and wife, Joyce, of Manchester New Hampshire; children, William Gusoski Jr., and his wife, Mindy, of Bangor, Gregory Gusoski, of Hermon, and Benjamin Gusoski, of Carmel; and very special grandson, Jayden; as well as a large family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Sebasticook Valley Hospital for the exceptional care and support they provided to Deborah.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Brookings-Smith Funeral Home, 133 Center St., Bangor, with Pastor Jerry Wright, officiating. A live tribute will be available for those unable to attend in person at BrookingsSmith.com. Those wishing to remember Deborah in a special way may make donations in her memory to an animal rescue organization of their choice.
