Delbert N. Springer

Dixmont - Delbert N. Springer, 72, died December 4, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 25, 1945, in Bangor, the son of Norman and Irene (Hartley) Springer. Delbert was a loyal 50 year member of the Archon Masonic Lodge No. 75 AF&AM of Dixmont, a member of the Maine Consistory 32 Degree, and Anah Shriners. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking joy rides around the mountain looking at deer. Delbert was a good husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ellen L. King. Delbert is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ellen (Sutherland) Springer of Dixmont; children, Norman Springer and his wife, Christine, of Holden, Joseph Springer and his partner, Danasa Carson, grandsons Caleb Springer, and Carson Crocker of Dixmont, and Jo-Ellen Springer of Bangor; Nana, Marion Dunivan of Dixmont; nieces and nephews, Kayan Clark and her husband, Graydon, James Dunivan and his wife Wanda, Susie Hopkins and her husband, Dudy, Joyce Reardon and her husband, Rick, and Cheryl Nichols and her husband, David. Gary King, Craig King and his wife Angel, and Mark King.
