Delina Ann Karlsson, 101, passed away December 26, 2022, at a healthcare facility in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born March 5, 1921, in Grand Isle, Maine the daughter of Carice and Olive (Lizzotte) DesChaines.
Delina was educated in the schools of Grande Isle, ME and received her LPN from the Northern General Hospital. She was employed by James Taylor Osteopathic Hospital for 50 years. Delina was a member of the Forest Avenue Congregational Church in Bangor. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her children; Sally A. Page of Guilford, Linda E. Smith of Pingree Grove, Ill, Ellen M. Dayton of Bangor; a daughter-in-law Donna Karlsson of Stetson; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Karlsson Sr.; a son Vincent Karlsson Jr.; a son-in-law, Paul Dayton; and a granddaughter Ellen Page.
