Dennis Sands

Dennis Clark Sands, our beloved son and brother, went to his eternal home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. He was born February 1, 1959, in Bangor, to LuRee (St. Thomas) and Clark Sands, Sr.
Dennis was loved by all he met; he was a special man. Some of his greatest joys were planting flowers each summer, riding around the countryside with his mother, and family gatherings. He was renowned for his sending of Christmas cards, mailing out many each year to all his family and friends. Everyone will surely miss his cards.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are four brothers, Clark Jr. of Carmel, Todd of Newburgh, Troy of Kenduskeag, Jeff and his wife, Doreen, of Carmel; and a sister, Penny of Carmel. Dennis had several nieces and nephews, and many, many more family members who will miss him greatly. Dennis was predeceased by his father; a brother, Randy; and a sister, Laurie.
The family would like to thank CHCS and Kathy Anderson for their care of Dennis over the years, we are truly grateful. We would also like to thank the staff at Northern Light Hospital for the remarkable love and care given to Dennis during his recent stays.
