Lagrange – Dennis Maynard Trafton Sr., 77, died unexpectedly at home with his loving wife of 60 years by his side. He was born May 30, 1943, in Portland, the son of Earle and Viola (Jones) Trafton.
Dennis loved camping, four-wheeling, gardening, and especially spending time with family. He loved fishing with his granddaughter, Sha-Lynn, and hunting with his granddaughter, Kylee, and special friend, Corey Roberts. Dennis worked as a Millwright at Dexter Shoe for 32 years.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Faith; siblings, Jeanette and husband, Earland Arnold, of Charleston, Freeland and wife, Bonnie Trafton, of Bangor; son, Dennis Trafton Jr. and Sue Michaud, of Lagrange, daughter, Teresa Trafton and Crystal Niles, of Alton, son, Corey Trafton and wife, Ronda, of Lagrange; granddaughters, Sha-Lynn Lawson and husband, Andrew, of Charleston, Kylee Trafton of Lagrange; and great-grandson, Waylon Lawson.
A Celebration of Dennis’s life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020, at his home.
