Bangor - Dixie L. Lozier, 77, died of Covid 19 on January 10, 2023. She was born December 13, 1945, in Millinocket, the daughter of Rosaire and Winifred (Albert) Lozier.
Dixie graduated from Stearns High School in Millinocket. She worked at American Felt and Slipper, and Viner Shoe Company. Being a dedicated worker, Dixie was named the employee of the year at Epstein’s and Walmart. She retired from Walmart after 27 years.
Dixie loved the movies, and enjoyed music and going out to eat.
She is survived by her sister, Suzanne Dow and her husband, Carl Wood of Rockport; special niece, Cheri Dow of Bangor; nephew, Bill Dow and his wife, Ruth of Windham; sister, Winifred J. Lozier of Gates, N.C.
The family would like to thank the ICU and 5th floor nurses and doctors for being so kind and gentle with Dixie.
Spring interment will be in the Millinocket Cemetery, with a day and time to be announced.
